Rhode Island has become the 11th state to legalize marijuana for medical use! This news came
the first week of Janurary as the Rhode Island
House had a 59-13 vote to override Gov. Donald Carcieri's (R) veto. Now, it's time to ask your legislators to make New York the 12th. New York Legislature reconvened for the second half of the 2005-2006 session
and now is the time for us to act. We are now at more then 20% of the states that have turned a nose to the Federal Governments harsh and idiotic regulations on Marijuana and it's use as a medicine. As more and more people realize the benefits of this
medicine, the Federal government will have no option other than face the facts. After years of filling the media waves with lies and misconceptions of marijuana, the feds will have to act. Currently there is a lawsuit against the feds for their monopoly on marijuana medical research, which is currently
at the University of Mississippi. Please take the time to help in this battle.
